Former Australian speedster Brett Lee lauded veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh by saying that he is a brilliant bowler as he knows very well how to bowl to certain players and also has good control over the ball. In the match against Delhi Capitals on Friday, the off-spinner returned with figures of 2/31 in his four overs, in the Qualifier 2 and helped Chennai Super Kings win the match by 6 wickets and reach the finals for the eighth times in 10 seasons.
In the 2018 Indian Premier League, Harbhajan was unable to impress with his spin bowling as he took just 7 wickets in 13 games. But the 38-year-old off spinner has turned the table in the 12th season with 16 wickets in 10 games to his name in the 12th edition of the cash-rich league. After dismissing Shikhar Dhawan and Sherfane Rutherford in the qualifier 2 on Friday evening he became the third Indian after Amit Mishra(156) and Piyush Chawla (150) to claim 150 wickets in the cash-rich league.
