Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma recalled his first meeting with veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh after he made his international debut. The duo is currently plying their trade for the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 and are the two senior-most members of the team. Their first meeting dates back to 2007 when Rohit first played for India.
Rohit, who started out as a bowling all-rounder, worked massively on his batting and has over the years, established his credentials as one of the fiercest strikers of the white ball. While Yuvraj is in the twilight of his career and finds himself out of favor from the national team, Rohit continues to be a vital cog of the Indian side in the limited-overs format.
